ST. JOSEPH AT A GLANCE
St. Joseph’s School is an Anglo-Indian Minority Institution which was established in 1971 by late Leonard Oscar D’Cruze. It is now a unit of the L. O. D’Cruze Educational Trust. This school was the first English Medium school to be established in Jhumritelaiya. Till today it boasts of its high standard in English. We have ex-students who have come a long way due to this high level of command over the English language, they now hail from England, United States of America, Germany, Russia and many other developed countries. We wish our students every success. Our Founder was a pioneer in the field of Education. He believed that every citizen of our country was entitled to get a proper and affordable education. Hence, our management tries its best to maintain a low fee structure and also offers sponsorship schemes. At present select tribal girls are given free education, books and lodging.
